It's Seed Season!

EYA will be holding its 8th annual seed exchange on Saturday, April 19, 10-1 at the Strathcona Community Garden (corner of Prior and Hawks). Bring your favourite vegetable, herb, or flower seeds to swap with fellow gardeners from across the city. No seed to swap? No problem...there will be lots of seed to go around.

A GREAT EVENT FOR ALL GARDENERS

Seed you there.

Hey Peter and Cylia,

your exchange sounds awesome! I was thinking of having a seed-ball making session that exact same date at a nearby park... would it crowd you at all if I brought my clay, soil, friends and current stock of seeds and set up at Strathcona too?

I'm wanting to meet other gardeners out there and mark up a map of all the places hit already and all the places yet-to-be-hit! Also, I think the more we meet up, the more resources and knowledge we can act on... I'd love to meet other people wanting to make things happen!!

Please let me know, I'm too much of a last-minute planner already!

Hi Bria:

Please contact someone from EYA. We are just the messenger and are not actual members of EYA. I believe EYA stands for Environmental Youth Alliance. cylia
