… Besides teaching students how to eat more whole grains and legumes, I love organizing and promoting my community garden! We have over 3 acres of rich, fertile soil to grow our food and a large 1200 sq. foot greenhouse. Last year we fed over 170 families from our gardens. Our garden members are required to come and work in the gardens if they want this delicious food. They also pay an annual fee of $50/household.
